The apps lets you capture your audio and video in multiple formats, edit it, and share your creations via email, text, iTunes, AirDrop, and Dropbox. Or link easily to cameras, computers and third-party mobile apps using the MoveMic Receiver (available separately).

High-Quality Audio for a Variety of Applications

The MoveMic 88+ gives creators complete freedom to capture professional-quality audio wirelessly: From filmmaking to field recording, mobile journalism to videography, this wireless video microphone lets you quickly configure the way your microphone captures audio by choosing one of four polar patterns: stereo, mono cardioid, mono bidirectional (figure 8), or raw mid-side. Simply set it up within the MOTIV Video or Audio apps, or via the MoveMic Receiver, and you’re good to go.

The mono cardioid setting, for example, is a smart choice for an interview focused on a single subject. For a two-person interview, the mono bidirectional setting might yield better results. The stereo settings offer pickup patterns with variable width (from 60 to 135°), great for recording musical performances or environmental sounds. The raw mid-side setting lets you capture dramatic stereo imaging, which you can adjust later in postproduction.

The MoveMic 88+ is packed with intelligent digital signal processing (DSP) software that allows you to adjust gain, compression, EQ, high-pass filter, L/R channel swap, and brand-new noise reduction settings. An always-enabled limiter will prevent loud sounds from clipping or distorting your audio and five presets (speech, singing, flat, acoustic, loud) make it easy to get recording fast. Fully customizable, your own presets can be saved in both the Shure apps and the separately available MoveMic Receiver, so you’re instantly ready next time.

Headphone Monitoring, 8-Hour Battery Life

Connect your headphones to the 3.5mm output to monitor your audio prior to recording to ensure you're capturing perfect audio. Simply adjust your monitor level (volume) via the MOTIV apps or MoveMic Receiver to hear every detail. MoveMic 88+ has up to eight hours of battery life on a full charge, meaning you can hit the road for a full day recording without worrying about running out of power. A USB-C charging cable, mic clip, cold-shoe mic clip, windscreen, and roll bag are included.
