Ortofon Super OM 5E OM Series Cartridge and Stylus

The Ortofon Super OM 5E is a low-mass moving-magnet cartridge with an elliptical stylus, well suited for music lovers and hi-fi enthusiasts. The cartridge body has been designed to provide easy mounting and alignment on both top-mount and bottom-mount headshells.

A tiny removable weight plate is tucked into the mounting bracket for use with standard tonearms. You can remove it if you want a low-mass tonearm, reducing the weight of the cartridge to a mere 2.5g. Made from NORYL (a plastic and glass compound), the Super OM 5E enclosure is lightweight and ensures high rigidity with freedom from resonance. Its computer-modeled design improves linearity, leads to higher channel separation, and reduces distortion.
