Ortofon SM-101 CORK MAT Overview
The Ortofon SM-101 is a turntable multilayer cork mat embellished with the distinctive red Ortofon logo and designed to fit all turntables. The dampening quality of its multilayer cork construction reduces vibrations, heightening the clarity of your playback.
The SM-101 grips records better than standard felt mats and therefore is not intended for turntablist-style scratching. The rugged cork helps lessen static electricity while playing your records and is especially recommended for metal-platter turntables.
