Description

Unleash the perfect tone for any scenario with the HeadRush Flex Prime, a multi-FX processor for guitar and bass sporting over 600 realistic and responsive amps, cabs, mics, and FX. With its powerful multicore DSP hardware, you can enjoy gapless preset switching and up to 15 simultaneous DSP blocks (FX, amps, etc.) for unlimited tonal possibilities.

With a 4" color LCD touchscreen and guitarist-centric graphical user interface, creating and customizing FX has never been easier. With integrated Wi-Fi technology, you can edit or share presets remotely without any software downloads, while Bluetooth enables easy audio streaming to play along with your favorite tracks. Three footswitches can be freely assigned and given custom LED colors, while the integrated expression pedal provides enhanced performance options and provides a toe switch and adjustable tension. You can use Flex Prime as a 24-bit / 96 kHz USB audio interface for painless reamping and recording. Flex Prime comes with software for capturing your own Clones, providing infinite options for expanding your library. And connections are plentiful, including a stereo FX loop, stereo outputs, aux input, and headphone output.

Compatibility with HeadRush Prime and Core

The HeadRush Flex Prime boasts the same processing power as the larger, more expensive HeadRush Prime and Core, but in a compact and portable enclosure. Perfect for the player on the go, this unit enables up to 14 DSP blocks (FX, amps, cabs, clones, IRs, etc.) per preset, in one of 5 different signal path types. All presets, setlists, and clones created on the HeadRush Prime and Core are compatible with the Flex Prime, so whether the Flex Prime is your road buddy or gig-bag companion, it is an affordable and tremendously capable addition to any guitar or bass player’s arsenal.

Unlimited Expansion with HeadRush Cloning Technology

The HeadRush Flex Prime supports HeadRush’s exclusive Clone and SuperClone technology, enabling you to instantly expand your onboard amp and FX library. These are precise captures of the sound, dynamics, and feel of highly sought-after gear, including vintage amps, rare effect pedals, priceless speakers, and high-end studio gear. You can easily load your own Clones and third-party impulse response files via Dropbox or Mac/Windows computers with the USB transfer mode.

ReValver Included

HeadRush Flex Prime includes a free copy of the new HeadRush ReValver Amp Cloner software to create your own Clones and SuperClones. Utilizing proprietary ACT (Audio Cloning Technology) Gen II, the ReValver Amp Cloner software quickly and accurately clones the sound, tone, and very essence of hardware and software-based guitar amps, cabs, and distortion/overdrive/fuzz pedals.

ReValver Amp Cloner is the world’s first capture system that enables combining multiple amp or pedal clones into a single powerful SuperClone that morphs between clones. Combine multiple clones of the same amp or pedal to create a deeper model or mix and match clones from different gear to create a custom model—the tonal possibilities are endless. All you need is a separate audio interface with a microphone input, and you can start your own clone custom shop.

Gapless Preset Switching with Reverb/Delay Tail Spillover

The HeadRush Flex Prime’s multicore processor enables gapless preset switching with reverb/delay tail spillover. The tails of any reverb or delay effects in your setup can be configured to ring out when changing presets and/or turning off individual delay or reverb effects. This means that every transition with the Flex Prime will sound fluid and seamless, just like a professional studio recording.

High-Quality Looper with Saving and MIDI Sync

The HeadRush Flex Prime features a highly functional looping feature—perfect for layering textures and melodies during a live show or as a potent songwriting tool, ready to go whenever inspiration strikes. Loops can be up to 5 minutes long with a capacity of 20 minutes of layered audio.

When you’re finished and ready to share your sonic masterpiece with the world, you can save your loops as WAV files and export them to your Mac/Windows computer. You can also import WAV files to use the looper to play along with your favorite backing tracks and easily sync the looper to external MIDI devices like drum machines.

Built-In USB Audio Interface for Recording and Reamping

Flex Prime’s USB connection opens up a world of recording and reamping directly to a computer. When connected, you can use the HeadRush Flex Prime as a 24-bit / 96 kHz audio interface. The reamp function works by sending audio from your DAW through the Flex Prime and then recording it back into your DAW. This allows you to easily add nuance and tonal qualities only attainable with a hardware amplifier into your recordings.

Remote Wi-Fi Editing

The Flex Prime makes easy work out of editing your rig remotely. Make tweaks to your setup on Mac, Windows, or tablet via the built-in Wi-Fi connection without any software downloads necessary.

Simply open a web browser on your device and type in HeadRushFlexPrime.Local to connect remotely. Once connected, you can now interact with the Flex Prime seamlessly. This feature is especially helpful for cramped home studios or during hectic sound checks.
